Kevin Tracy - National Director and Founder of Children's Rights Canada

Kevin Tracy - National Director and Founder of Children's Rights Canada.
I am a father of two wonderful children.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland; I now live in Ottawa, Canada.
I've wanted to advocate for children's rights for many years. I feel our legal and policing systems need significant reform; that children's best interests are not always put first when it comes to the application of our current laws.

"Making positive changes and raising a happy society will help make our world a better place."

"The actions of a child, regardless of what their parents say, do not always speak louder than their words. It is difficult for alienated parents to interact with their children in all the gray zones allowed by the Canadian government due to the many disadvantages they face. In many cases, all facts are based on false allegations or have been derived from he said, she said notes that have never been verified."
"In the course of meeting with Doug Downey's respected lawyers, I learned that mediation is only capable of making small changes in many cases, and that to ensure children can remain children without becoming instruments of abuse, I would like to see significant changes to both our divorce act and our children's rights act."
"It is imperative that the authorities receive extreme training in determining false allegations, along with all third parties (such as OCL, CAS, etc.) should be replaced, and a more family-friendly environment should be provided for children. A great deal of evidence should never be ignored when it comes to facts!"
"In order for Family Courts to serve as effective legal mechanisms, more establishments must be made, and all documents of origin should be verified and certified before appearing in front of a judge. It is essential that all false allegations, fraudulent documents are treated concurrently after admitting under oath through family court, by working alongside criminal courts to ensure the consequences reach their potential."
